Our Services

IMECA3D manufactures custom FDM parts for companies, startups, and university engineering projects — from single functional prototypes to small production batches. Every file is checked for wall thickness, tolerances, and print orientation before we start, so what you receive matches what you designed. If your file isn't optimized yet, we'll flag it and point you to our Design for 3D Printing service before printing.

Use this service when you need to move fast across multiple versions — not just one accurate part. We support functional testing, investor demos, ergonomic checks, and design validation, with quick turnaround between rounds so you can catch problems early, before tooling or production costs are on the table. If you already know your final design and just need one accurate part manufactured, Custom 3D Printing is the faster route.

Mechanical Design Support covers CAD modeling, assembly design, and technical drawings built for real manufacturing processes — 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, or injection molding. Every design considers material selection, tolerances, fastening, and assembly from the start, so the CAD model you get isn't just a 3D picture — it's something that can actually be built. Once your design is finalized, we can move directly into Rapid Prototyping or Custom 3D Printing for manufacturing.

We reconstruct physical components into editable CAD models using measurement, engineering analysis, and scanning data where needed — for replacement parts, discontinued products, legacy equipment, and modernization projects. The result isn't a rough visual copy: we evaluate tolerances, assembly fit, and material behavior so the reconstructed part performs correctly once manufactured, whether by Custom 3D Printing, CNC, or injection molding.

Design for 3D Printing (DFAM) is the engineering step between "I have a CAD model" and "this will print reliably." We review geometry, wall thickness, overhang angles, and load paths against your chosen material and printer process, then optimize the file specifically for additive manufacturing — including lattice structures and topology optimization where weight matters. Once your file is optimized, we can print it directly through Custom 3D Printing or hand you the production-ready file for printing elsewhere.

Product Development Support combines Mechanical Design Support, Rapid Prototyping, Design for 3D Printing, and Custom 3D Printing into a single structured process — concept, CAD design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing preparation — with one point of contact throughout. Use this when your project spans multiple stages and you want continuity between them rather than restarting context with a new brief each time. If you only need one specific stage, go directly to that service — it'll be faster and more cost-effective.
