IMECA3D is an Italian engineering and additive manufacturing company specialising in precision 3D printing, mechanical design, and rapid prototyping. We help businesses develop products that are engineered for performance, checked for manufacturability, and ready for production.

Our work connects design with industrial production: every part we design is made with manufacturing in mind. Whether supporting an internal R&D team, developing a part from a concept sketch, or reverse-engineering a legacy component, we prioritise engineering rigour first and speed second.

Founder

Jayathra Perera

Founder & Mechanical Design Engineer

He founded IMECA3D out of a simple frustration: too many good ideas get lost in the gap between a sketch and a working part. With a mechanical engineer's eye for how things are built and a maker's instinct for turning concepts into physical objects fast, he leads every design through to something you can actually hold, test, and manufacture with confidence.

She makes sure nothing gets lost between an idea and the client who needs it delivered, especially across the language and cultural gap between Italy and the wider world. With a natural gift for cross-cultural communication, she gives every client, wherever they're based, a straightforward, dependable point of contact.
