Material Guide
ABS-like strength with much better UV and weather resistance.
ASA behaves much like ABS — tough, heat-resistant and easy to post-process — but it was developed to withstand sunlight and weather. Where ABS yellows and turns brittle outdoors, ASA keeps its colour and properties far longer.
Like ABS, it shrinks as it cools, so we print it on our enclosed Bambu Lab P1S to keep the part warm and prevent warping and layer splitting.
