How it works

How the selector chooses a material

The selector checks every grade we print on our Bambu Lab P1S and P1P printers against your answers.

It rules out grades that can't do the job. For example, PLA for parts that get warm, or non-UV-resistant materials for outdoor use.
It scores the rest on what you said matters. The scores combine Bambu Lab's published heat, impact and strength ratings with our own experience of accuracy, finish, wear and outdoor durability.
An engineer confirms the choice. When you request a quote, we check the material against your design and how the part will be used before anything is printed.
